You might be willing to live with some peculiarities in a computer that's designed for Windows. You shouldn't have to deal with these minor annoyances in a computer that's designed from scratch to run Linux, though. Some examples of differences you might find between Linux and Windows computers include
• Linux keyboards A few manufacturers have begun to produce keyboards with a Tux penguin logo, rather than a Windows logo, on the keys that are normally identified as Windows keys. These keyboards function the same as conventional keyboards, but if the computer is to be used only in Linux, why put a Windows logo on the keyboard? (I don't recommend sacrificing keyboard quality to get a Linux keyboard, though; this improvement is purely aesthetic, whereas carpal-tunnel syndrome is far more serious.)
