Accepting Incoming Mail

Exim can be configured to accept mail addressed in a variety of ways as local mail. The three primary options for doing so are summarized in Table 25.3. After installing Exim on Debian, chances are the local_domains option will be set to include localhost, your computer's hostname, and possibly your computer's domain name. Given this configuration, setting local_domains_include_host to true is redundant; the inclusion of the hostname in local_domains does the job.
