Desktop uses of a computer are extremely broad in scope. The previous chapter covered one of the most important classes of such use—office productivity tools. This chapter covers an assortment of additional programs. Most of these tools can be either critical for business use of Linux or more recreational in nature. The topics covered in this chapter are manipulating sound files, using a digital camera, creating and manipulating graphics, using advanced web browsing options, and configuring e-mail.
