On the Disk Controller Configuration screen (see Figure 3-2), you get access to the configuration of the different disk controllers on your server. Usually, each of these disk controllers has a corresponding kernel module that allows the operating system to address the kernel in the right way. In the Module to Use drop-down box, you can choose what specific module you want to use for a given controller, and you can enter specific parameters for that module. Last, when you select the Load Module in Initrd option, the module for the disk controller is available from the first stage of the boot procedure. This is a requirement if you want to be able to boot from the selected disk controller.
