Patching the Kernel

Occasionally, you will need to patch your kernel. Generally, you can do this in two ways. First, you can download a patch from anywhere and apply it to the kernel. Second, you can download patches to the kernel with ZENworks Linux Management. The latter option is the easiest, because the patches will be downloaded and installed automatically. Also, downloading patches from the Internet risks breaking the support and even the functionality of your kernel; therefore, I can be short about that option: just don't do it!
