In this chapter, you learned how to create a CA, which is needed to secure services on your network; you can use it both to prove the identity of a user or a service and to encrypt traffic on your network. Because it is so essential, during the installation of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, a default server CA is created automatically using either YaST or the OpenSSL utility. You can tune this as needed. In the next chapter, you'll learn how to manage the Apache web server.
